Blind Man Leads Police on High Speed Chase

Yeah, I read the headline a time or two myself and thought, 'Well, someone else was actually driving.'

Nope.

A registered blind man led police on an 85mph car chase through a city center in the dead of night.

Mulazum Hussain, who really is legally blind and can only actually see a few feet lead ploice on a harrowing chase that reached speeds of 85 miles per hour.

Needless to say, he didn't stop at any stop signs, but was actually able to negotiate roundabouts and made some pretty tricky turns.

Authorities say that, at one point, Hussain left the ground and did a 360 degree spin.

The 21-year-old also went through several red lights in a bid to escape.

When they finally stopped Hussain, he claimed it couldn't have been driving because he is blind. He, of course, couldn't explain who else could have been driving since he was alone in the car. Yeah, he's in jail.
