The storm surge from Hurricane Delta coming on to Cypremort Point was caught on video.

Don Meaux, Sr, a Cypremort Point legend, has been capturing images from across the island for some time now. He also has the camp with the Surge-O-Meter board mounted to it, marking the tidal surge from several storms. The website HurricaneTrack.com had live cameras set up all over the coastal area, and this one was trained on Don's place in Cypremort Point.

This video only catches the early part of the surge, as the more came in after nightfall.

Still, it's a great video showing the rise in water during Hurricane Delta's landfall.
