Weekend Football Line Up

Football fans love this time of year. Everybody's favorite team has a shot at the title. Everyone is undefeated right now and the hype is huge. We'll start with high school action.

The traditional kick off to the high school season is the Jamboree game. There are three jamborees in our area tonight. McNeese State Cowboy Stadium is hosting the Lake Area Jamboree. The action starts tonight at 6:30 when Sulphur and Sam Houston do battle followed by a Barbe / Westlake tilt.

In Allen Parish Kinder plays Oakdale and Oberlin round robin style.

In Jeff Davis Parish you'll see Lake Arthur, Elton and Welsh in action tonight.

Jennings will be in action in Lafayette tonight.

Tomorrow the McNeese State Cowboys begin the season in South Florida with the pre-game starting at six on Gator 99.5 and gator995.com.

LSU starts the season taking TCU in a nationally televised game on ESPN. Catch all of the action beginning at 8 pm tomorrow.
