Starting Feb. 8 Louisianans 65 And Older Can Get COVID-19 Vaccine
A massive campaign to vaccinate all Americans is underway. The rollout has been pretty rough to say the least, due to vaccine supply. However, with the encouraging predictability of vaccine availability going forward, Governor Edwards announced he is lowering the age eligibility of those among the first the be vaccinated.
Edwards' decision came as the Biden administration ramps up production for maximum distribution across the country. Louisiana is one of several states lowering the age limit to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
