So you have failed miserably at your new year's resolution to eat healthier. Do you really think you are alone? Thank goodness the City of Lake Charles and the Parks and Recreation Department are going to help.

Starting in March the City of Lake Charles will co-host "Let's Eat for the Health of It." This will be a series of one hour classes teaching how to eat better for less to start with. I'm all about loosing weight and saving money at the same time! Other classes in the series will cover how to keep food safe to eat, plan meals and shop wisely, eat and exercise for better health and more.

The free classes will be held at the Willie McCullor Landry Center at 416 Dr. Michael DeBakey Drive from 9:30 to 10:30 am on march 2nd, March 6th, March 9th and March 13th.
