They say you should write about what you know, so it's more than fitting that I should write about coffee. I'm drinking a cup of coffee right now. No, I mean no matter what time of day or night you are reading this, I'm drinking a cup of coffee. My grandfather is to blame.

Legend has it that, when I was about 2, we were at my grandparents house and nobody could find me. Well, they checked the kitchen and, sure enough, they found me at the breakfast table with my grandfather who just happened to be spoon feeding me coffee. I'm sure my grandfather got into a world of trouble for that, but I was hooked.

As far back as I can remember, I've been hooked on coffee. I used to wonder why they didn't have coffee in my Elementary School cafeteria. that would have been just great for me. Looking back, I can only imagine what that would have meant for the poor teachers. Can you imagine a classroom of preteens hopped up on coffee and sugar.
