I often tell people I have never worked a day in my life. That’s because I have been doing what I have always wanted to do since I was 15: radio, from playing 45s when I was in high school, to working with one of the country’s largest radio corporations now. I was born, raised, and still live in West Calcasieu. I am a child of the ’70s, so being on the air at 92.9 The Lake is the perfect radio job for me. Since 1974, I have worked at some of the best stations in our area, with some of the best people. I am an avid Houston Astros and New Orleans Saints fan. I have been the voice of McNeese sports as the PA announcer along with some play-by-play on the radio since 1986, and I am the proud dad to a wonderful daughter. Yes, it’s been a pretty good career for this Southwest Louisiana boy!
