The rainy weather across Southwest Louisiana continues to hamper the preseason preparations for the McNeese Cowboys. A number of practices have been moved indoors or cut short by lightning and downpours as the Pokes prepare for their season opener against Tarleton State on Sept. 3rd at Cowboy Stadium.

The team got some good news on Tuesday when it learned that defensive tackle Isaiah Golden will be rejoining the team soon. Golden is a preseason All Conference selection.

Individual game tickets are now on sale at the Jack Doland Field House for all 6 home games. Some ticket prices have been lowered to help families who want to attend the games. Season tickets are also still available. The Cowboys will host Tarleton State, the conference foes Stephen F. Austin, Nicholls State, Central Arkansas, Abilene Christian, And Lamar.

All McNeese football games can be heard on 929 The Lake and at 929thelake.com!
