What Will Louisiana Be Drinking This New Year?

A study looked at each state's favorite thing to drink on New Year's Eve, and champagne is still a strong number one.

But a few states prefer vodka-cranberries, rum-and-Cokes, and frozen daiquiris. So what will Louisiana be drinking when the clock strikes midnight?

First, let's see what some of our neighbors will be drinking:

• Texas: Champagne
• Mississippi: Strawberry Daiquiri
• Arkansas: Lemon Drop
• Oklahoma: Cranberry Vodka

According to the study, Louisianans will be drinking Sazerac, a New Orleans version of Cognac Whiskey.
