Week 3 McNeese Football Starting Lineup vs Weber State

(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - The Pokes return home this week to The Hole to battle the Weber St. Wildcats.

Last year, the Cowboys traveled to Ogden, UT and pulled off a huge upset off against the #25 nationally ranked Wildcats. The Pokes won a nail-bitter 28 - 26.

It's really hard to gauge what kind of team the Wildcats have this year. They've faced two really good FBS teams this season (James Madison and Arizona) and have a 0-2 record. However, this could be a trap game for the Cowboys if they come into the matchup thinking that the Wildcats are a pushover this season.

I was really encouraged by what I saw last week during the ULL game. The Pokes came out hot early and show they can compete with an FBS school. It was 17-10 Cajuns heading into the 4th quarter. ULL ending up running away with the game in the last quarter, however, The Pokes never quit and continued to play hard.
