Children Invited To Christmas Toy Giveaway In Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES. LOUISIANA: On Christmas Eve, Michael Boyer's Small Sliders Christmas Cheer Toy Drive will kick off at 3:00PM from Small Sliders, with a procession to low-income neighborhoods across Lake Charles.

Accompanied by a 10-car police escort, led by Nate Keller City Marshal and Chris Wilrye Chief of Police of Westlake, they’ll roll through lower income neighborhoods with sirens blaring, handing out presents to children in need.

The procession will conclude around 7:00PM at Urban Air Adventure Park in Lake Charles, where they hope to greet many excited children eager to experience the event.

At Urban Air, Deep South Productions, owner Marvin Simon, will have a stage set up complete with lights, music, and snow machines. It will also feature live musicians to add to the festive atmosphere. From 7:00PM to 9:00PM, children ages newborn to 18 are invited to come inside Urban Air’s foyer to pick up a gift.

In addition, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Christmas Eve, Mallet Buildings in Iowa, Louisiana will host a drive-thru toy giveaway for kids, along with complimentary gumbo for the first 400 people.

No sign up is required to attend these events, just come and be blessed this Christmas.
