Vyve Broadband is holding a community school supply drive for the two elementary schools in Westlake.

Growing up and being naive, I always assumed that every kid in SWLA was given the same lot in life I was experiencing. I thought every child had access to all the school supplies they needed and were all ready for school on day one. However, that's not the case. As I grew up and now working in radio, I've been exposed to the truth. Many families in SWLA struggle to give their kids the necessities they need and that means school supplies too.

Vyve Broadcasting in Westlake is holding a community school supply drive from now until August 19 for students that need assistance with school supplies. The donations will benefit the kids of Westwood Elementary and Western Heights Elementary in Westlake.

• Loose Leaf Paper
• Pencils
• Markers
• Glue Sticks
• Colors
• Notebooks
• Kids Scissor
• ETC...
