Once again, drunk driving has claimed a life in Calcasieu Parish. The overnight crash resulted in the death of a passenger who was not wearing any restraint. The driver in the crash was arrested on the scene for drunk driving.
Yesterday (2/18/15) the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Department responded to a wreck at the intersection of Goos Road and Paul Bellon Road in Moss Bluff,. The accident resulted in a fatality.
It started with a two vehicle accident in the inside lane on I-10 westbound just west of Welch. It ended when another vehicle became involved and hit the driver (of one of the first vehicles.) The Lafayette man was pronounced dead on the scene.
