Louisiana State Police Report Rosepine Man Killed in Wreck Near Starks
A Rosepine man driving a pick up left the road on Highway 12 about one mile east of Starks on Saturday night. The truck struck a concrete culvert resulting in the death of the driver.

The truck was being driven by 31 year old Wayne M. Wiser who was pronounced dead at the scene by the Calcasieu Parish Coroner's Office. According to a release from Louisiana State Police there were four passengers in the vehicle who were all wearing seat belts and received minor injuries.
