The New Orleans Saints and rookie first-round pick Bryan Bresee have agreed to terms on a contract that will pay Bresee over $12 million over its lifespan.

The Saints are meeting with former Tennessee Volunteer quarterback Hendon Hooker today ahead of the NFL Draft. Could he be the quarterback of the future for the Black and Gold?

Cowboy Junior pitcher Michael Clemens went 4-4 last season with 54 strike outs in 79 and a third innings. This caught the attention of professional baseball scouts. It would now seem the right handed pitcher is going to begin his professional career.

It sure would have been nice to keep Odell Beckham in Louisiana; but he went too high in the draft. There are lots of reasons why the New York Giants took Beckham with the 12th pick in this year's NFL draft.

LSU will be represented by 11 former players at this year's NFL combine. The combine takes place February 22nd-25th. This a chance for prospective draft picks to show what they can do and talk to NFL team officials.

LSU has lost many athletes to the NFL draft and knows how it feels to lose players who still had college eligibility remaining. McNeese State Tight End Nic Jacobs would sure be a big part of the Cowboys offense next year ... but he may be playing on Sundays instead of Saturdays.
