LSU has lost many athletes to the NFL draft and knows how it feels to lose players who still had college eligibility remaining. McNeese State Tight End Nic Jacobs would sure be a big part of the Cowboys offense next year ... but he may be playing on Sundays instead of Saturdays.

According to an American Press report the 6'5", 260  tight end plans to attend the NFL combine. This is where draft eligible athletes go to show NFL scouts what they can do. Jacobs proved his abilities by catching 32 passes for 453 yards last season after transferring to McNeese from LSU. Jacobs has until January 15th to add his name to the NFL draft list. This years NFL draft will happen May 8th through 10th.
