Suspects Wanted for Burglary & Theft from a Local Store
Detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office are searching for the suspect responsible for a theft at a store on Highway 171 in Moss Bluff on March 8, at about 11 pm, said a media release.
According to Kim Myers, an investigation determined the suspect broke into the store by throwing a large rock through the front door. That alone caused over $1,000 worth of damage. The suspect, seen in the photos above, then entered the store while a second person stood outside of the store. Once the suspect was inside, he filled two containers with cartons of cigarettes worth about $4,000.
Investigators think they fled on foot south towards a wooded area, and that there may be a third person involved.
Anyone with information regarding the theft or who can identify the man in the photos, please can contact CPSO at 491.3605 or Crime Stoppers at 439.2222.
