Road Closures in Lake Charles Till 4:00pm Today

Trooper Derrick Senegal with the Louisiana State Police Troop D informed us this morning that Entergy will have to block roads off in their continued efforts to restore power in SWLA. Electrical crews from across the country are here working around the clock to reconnect fallen and broken power lines.

Today, crews will close off a few main roadways in the city to replace broken poles and power lines. Trooper Senegal said motorists should be advised to that Broad Street between Lakeshore and Ryan Street will be closed to all traffic, west and eastbound until 4:00pm for repairs.
