Louisiana’s Own Raising Cane’s Raises The Bar For Its Employees

Not only are Louisiana's own Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers restaurants a good place to eat, but they're also a good place to work!

Yahoo! Finance is reporting that the Baton Rouge, LA, based chain is not only planning to increase their employees' pay to $19.50 an hour, but their team members will also be able to make even more if they work past 10 pm or train others. I don't know about you, but that's one heck of a reason to go to work for Cane's if they take care of their employees like that.

On top of that, Yahoo! Finance also says that Raising Cane's plans to increase its footprint in the next year by opening an additional 100+ locations, bringing its total to over 800 restaurants. That's a lot of new opportunities for folks. Not bad for a business born in 'da boot!

In other Raising Cane's news, I recently heard of a copycat recipe for Cane's 'secret' sauce! From what I understand, the concoction calls for one cup of mayo, one-half cup of ketchup, and 1 and a splash more tablespoons of Worchester sauce. Then you should season the sauce to taste with Tony's, black pepper, etc... Another person told me that blended capers are the secret additive to what's listed above to get the perfect dupe. Hmmm... Capers? I'm not sure about that, however, one thing is for sure... everyone would love to know the definitive recipe for Cane's sauce!
