You probably pay most of your bills online. This is 2013. Some of your bills are probably automatically are deducted from your bank account. You can't have your property taxes automatically deducted but you can pay them online.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso has announced that taxpayers will be able to pay their 2013 property taxes online at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office website with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit card.  Taxpayers may also view and print their bill from the website. To find the amount of your bill call (337) 491-3680 during normal business hours. The deadline to pay without incurring penalties or interest is December 31, 2013.

For those not wanting to pay their taxes online, they may pay them in person at the following locations.

The Magnolia Life Building at 1011 Lakeshore Drive, Suite 100, Monday Through Friday from 8:30 a.m.—4:30 p.m.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office at 1525 Cypress Street, Sulphur, Monday through Friday from 8:00—4:00 p.m. (closed for lunch 12:00 noon—1:00 p.m.)

Also for the convenience to the taxpayers, the Calcasieu Parish Tax Collector’s Office will have a representative to collect the 2013 property taxes on the following dates and at the following locations around the parish:

Tuesday, December 3rd at  Westlake City Hall, 1001 Mulberry, Westlake from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday, December 4th  at the DeQuincy Law Enforcement Center,   618 E. Center St., Dequincy from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Thursday, December 5th  at the Vinton Law Enforcement Center, 1302 Center St., Vinton from 8:30am. to 2:30 p.m.
