Missing Westlake Woman Safe After Car Found Abandoned Near I-10

The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office is reporting missing Westlake woman has been found safe.

After finding her car abandoned off of I-10, the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office is reporting Wendi Annette Striesel of Westlake, La has been found safe.

No other information has been given as to what led to her car being abandoned.

Jeff Davis Woman Missing, Car Found Abandoned Near I-10

Jeff Davis deputies are currently searching for Wendi Annette Striesel, 46, of Westlake.

KATC reports the search officially began Monday (03/13/23) at 6 pm for the missing woman.

Striesel's 2023 white 2023 Acura Integra was found abandoned near I-10 and Oilfield Road in Jeff Davis Parish.

Both Jeff Davis and Allen Parish deputies are currently searching the area where Striesel's car was found according to KATC.
