Body of Missing Monroe, Louisiana Woman Recovered by CPSO Dive Team

The body of a Monroe, Louisiana woman whose SUV was found abandoned on the I-210 bridge on Tuesday, Sept. 25, has been recovered. It's been determined that she jumped from the bridge.

According to a media release, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Marine Division Dive Team recovered the body of Debra Kay Hughes, 58, on the south side of the I-210 bridge on Friday, September 28, 2018, at approximately 3 pm.

Deputies were dispatched to the I-210 bridge on Tuesday, at about 10 pm, where they found a Volkswagen Tiguan registered to Hughes parked on the bridge.
