Mercy Chefs Coming Back To Feed Lake Charles After Flooding

Mayor Nic Hunter contacted Mercy Chefs and asked if they would come back and help feed those impacted by the flood on Monday. They have obliged.

They will be serving hot, chef-prepared meals today, May 20:

• Where: Life United Church, 1800 E. College St., Lake Charles, LA
• When: Lunch - 11:00am to 1:00pm, Dinner - 4:00pm. to 6:00pm

Mercy Chefs helped feed SWLA after the devastation of Hurricane Laura and Delta. Gary LeBlanc, founder of Mercy Chefs, said in a Facebook post that it was their honor to return to the area and minister to the community.

The organization also announced they will be making food deliveries to the hardest hit areas of Lake Charles to make it easier on residents.
