The main focus of his teaching strategy is to let students work together as a team on projects and foster a community of competition to push students to be their best.

Over the years he's helped several students compete at the National FFA Agriscience Fair.

Congratulations to Jennings High School agriculture teacher Aaron Beaubouef for being recognized with this amazing honor. He was also voted on by his peers at Jennings HS Campus Teacher Of The Year.

Beaubouef told KPLC that it really shows the value that Ag teachers bring to high school campuses.

Before Aaron arrived at Jennings HS, they had never won a FFA competition. After his arrival, the school has we’ve won over forty competitions in the last six years, and they won 11 in just this past year.

Beaubouef is Jennings High School's first teacher to be named Louisiana High School Teacher of the Year.
