Even though it's November, and we're usually out of the woods when it comes to hurricane season here in the Gulf, Mother Nature sends us yet another message this year that she controls the weather and will do what she wants when she wants.

Yesterday Fradella posted an update of strong storm signal brewing in the Caribbean that looks like it could make its way into the Gulf of Mexico.

Today the forecast looks even worse with another area of interest popping up as a potential disturbance next week.

Luckily Zack says the storm should impact the southern Gulf/Yucatan Channel which sounds like the potential storm would head into Mexico eventually, however, please don't take your eyes off these disturbances because we truly never know where a storm will go until it has a defined center of circulation that storm models can lock on.

We won't truly know what will happen with these possible Gulf disturbances until sometime later this week. So, there's nothing to worry about at this time for Louisiana residents, however, it's peak hurricane season so anything can happen.  We have to keep are eyes peeled on the Gulf and the Atlantic until hurricane season is officially over November 30th.
