Large Majority In Local Poll Say Ebola Workers Should Not Travel
Last week we were talking about travel bans for people entering our nation from South African countries that are the epicenter of the Ebola outbreak. This week we are asking about travel bans for US workers who have worked with Ebloa patients in Dallas. Sentiments are much stronger this week.
Carnival Cruise Lines issued a statement about a Texas Methodist lab employee (who handled an Ebola patients lab specimens) on the Carnival Magic cruise ship out of Galveston and another health care worker (involved with the Ebola patient in Dallas) took a round trip flight from Dallas to Cleveland. We ask if "Do you think Ebola care givers should be allowed to travel?" Your response was the most overwhelming we have ever had for one of our polls. Over 94% of those who responded were in favor of such a travel ban!
