The word that there are security cameras everywhere must have failed to reach at least one woman who has now been arrested for burglary and theft in Lake Charles.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home on Corbina Road in Lake Charles earlier in the month regarding a burglary. the home owner informed the deputies that two televisions, worth approximately $1,300, were missing.

It was during the investigation that deputies discovered that the trailer park bot only had security cameras, but those cameras show footage of Oneischa Bellard, 20, who lived in the same trailer park enter the victim's home through a window. Adding to the evidence is the fact that the deputies also found one of the missing TV's at a local pawn shop. The pawn ticket had Bellard's name on it. It was just nor Bellard's day for breaking and entering.

Bellard was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with simple burglary; theft $750 -$5,000; and illegal possession of stolen property.  She was released on a $5,000 bond set by Judge Sharon Wilson.
