After the announcement that Buc-ee's will be coming to Louisiana, In-N-Out followed that up with an amazing announcement of their own that looks like great news for burger fans in Louisiana.

In-N-Out's President recently said that the company will start expanding east of Texas starting in Tennesse. She also stated that they also plan to open restaurants in the states between Texas and Tennesse.

Obviously, that's great news for Louisiana.  That puts the Bayou State in their expansion cross hairs. I would love to say Lake Charles should be in the conversation for a Louisiana location, but they'll probably look at Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and/or Shreveport for the new restaurant.

The California based burger chain currently has locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, and Texas.

They plan on starting construction on their Nashville, Tennesse location late this year and expect to be ready to serve their famous Animal Style burgers and fries sometime in 2026.

So, it seems like Louisiana could have to wait until after 2026 in hopes of receiving a location.

States in the path of their Tennessee expansion would also include Arkansas, Alabama, and Mississippi. I would hate to see one of those states get a location before us because Baton Rouge doesn't want to give the company a tax break deal like the one that kept Buc-ee's out of Louisiana for so long. Let's make this happen!
