It looks as though Joshua Heaton, 26, and Casey Guillory, 22, both of Sulphur had a plan, it's just that the plan didn't work out the way they expected. Last thursday at about 11:20 in the morning, the pair were seen knocking on the door of a residence on Melba Street in Sulphur and, when they thought no one was home, the allegedly decided to sneak in through a back door of the residence. They had no idea they were being watched at the time.

The authorities were called and detectives showed up on the scene. While the detectives were searching around the grounds of the house, who should appear but our friends Guillory and Heaton running from behind the house. Needless to say, they were taken into custody right away.

The pair admitted to breaking into the house to steal and Xbox, but panicked when they found someone sleeping on a couch inside the residence. The pair made a hasty retreat, but obviously didn't go far enough or fast enough not to get caught.

It turns out that the pair didn't know the victim, but had visited the house once with a friend and decided to go back and take the Xbox.

Guillory and Heaton were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and were both charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling; and attempted theft under $750.
