Geico Not The First to Use Owls and Camels in TV Commercials [VIDEO]

Everybody is imitating the Geico Hump Day commercial. It may even be more popular than the Geico Gecko. Geico has done a great job of incorporating animals into their commercials. Now they have included an animal that was last used in Tootsie Roll Pops commercials.

Here is the Tootsie Roll Pop commercial.

Here is the Geico commercial using owls. The difference of course that Geico is sticking with it's plan of going for computer generated movement and more of a live look rather than animation.

An the Camel was also used in commercials in the 60's. I could not find the old Camel commercials but this video has lots of images from the "Joe Camel" campaign.

And finally the camel everyone is talking about today.
