Disturbance Moves Off African Coast

A tropical wave moving off the coast of Africa has a decent chance of developing into something tropical.

The tropical wave is currently a few hundred miles southwest of the Cape Verde Islands has very little chance of any formation during the next 48 hours. The chance of formation does go up to 40% when you look forward five days though. The wave is currently moving to the west at 10 to 15 mph. We will keep an eye on this system for you.
