A Family Favorite Restaurant in Lake Charles, Louisiana Is Closing Down

A favorite restaurant of many families in SWLA is closing its doors and we have all the details.

O'Charley's was beloved in SWLA, especially by parents. O’Charley’s has a special O’Charley’s kids menu that includes various burgers, sandwiches, pasta, desserts, and some cool drinks. Plus, they have the "O'Charley's Kids Eat Free" for kids under 10 years old.

Discovering SWLA on Facebook broke the news that O'Charley's was closing here in Lake Charles:

It's all part of the larger effort by the company to close several locations across the country.

There's a sign on the door that reads:

Sorry, we’re closed permanently. O’Charley’s thanks you for your patronage and we hope to see you soon!

 

O'Charley's was not only a family favorite here in SWLA because of their kids under 10 eat free policy, but their Louisiana Sirloin ranked as the best steak in SWLA when we power ranked steaks, so it was a local favorite as well.

I for one I'm sad to see them go. I always remember having good service their as well from the waiters and waitresses.  So if you own a restaurant in SWLA and you see O'Charley's on a resume, you might want to give them a chance.  They would be a great addition to your staff.
