I don't know why we're all so fascinated with how much money other people make, but you do wonder from time to time about such things. Have you ever been riding around, maybe down Shellbeach and you see one magnificent home after another and you think to yourself, "What do these people do for a living"?

With that thought in mind, I stumbled across an article on-line to day at Glassdoor.com and we may have somewhat of an answer to the "what do they do" question. Glass Dor did a survey off some typical professions and just how much money people in that profession earn a year based on a national average.

If you always wanted a doctor in the house, you'll be pleased to know that doctors still top the list for professional income; coming in at an average of $188,000 a years. In fact, most of the top jobs on the list are medical and medical and pharmaceutical related jobs.

Here are the top 5 professions on the list:

1.  Physician, $188,000.

2.  Pharmacy manager, $149,000.

3.  Patent attorney, $140,000.

4.  Medical science liaison, $133,000.

5.  Pharmacist, $126,000.

Notice that 4 out of the top 5 are all in or related to the medical field.
