In my experience, I would have to agree with Steamboat Bill's being ranked #1 on Yelp. The house potato will always have a special place in my heart, their gator bits are the bomb, my wife and kids love the crawfish, and the gumbo is outstanding. Plus, they're not scared to spice up their dishes. Kudos!

Seafood Palace coming in 2nd seems about right. The obvious star there is the gumbo. If you haven't had a bowl of gumbo from Seafood Palace, then your life isn't complete. It is, hands down, the best restaurant-made gumbo in town.

I've never been to JT's or Tia Juanita's, but let me tell you something about Leonard's. Their fried shrimp po-boy is to die for! Throw a little hot sauce on that thing and go to town. While you're waiting on your food, make sure you get some of their delicious boudin balls as an appetizer.
