Toledo Bend Dam Closings
The Sabine River Authority last night started closing gates from having all eleven opened at two feet, now only five are opened at one foot releasing 5,000 cubic feet of water per second.
This action should alleviate the immediate flood threats along the Sabine River valley as the water subsides.
Meanwhile, the forecast in SWLA is for the rain to start off the week with overnight temperatures into the high 30s by Wednesday.
