Southwest Louisiana residents still living in FEMA trailers from Hurricane Laura and Delta, will begin paying rent to continue to live in the government-provided housing.

Louisiana homeowners and renters that were affected by Hurricane Ida and live in parishes designated for Individual Assistance could be eligible for help from FEMA.
The federal government has declared five more parishes in Louisiana eligible for disaster aid as a result of Hurricane Delta. Those parishes are Beauregard, Lafayette, Rapides, St. Landry and St. Martin.
