Popeyes released a new menu item this week that will satisfy your sweet tooth after you gobble up their amazing chicken.

OMG, just when you thought that Popeyes iconic biscuit couldn't get any better, the folks over a Popeyes told us to hold their soda and they delivered the new strawberry biscuit.

The strawberries look to be incorporated into their amazing buttery biscuit and then it's topped with an icing.

I've called all the Popeyes locations in Lake Charles, Westlake, Moss Bluff, and Sulphur and they are all carrying the new strawberry biscuit.

Amy Alarcon, the vice president of culinary innovation at Popeyes had this to say in a press release:

We are thrilled to introduce the latest culinary creation to our dessert menu, the irresistible Strawberry Biscuits. The perfect combination of our classic, buttery biscuits and the flavor of ripe, fruity strawberries, Strawberry Biscuits offer a delicious touch of sweetness to any meal.

 

The new strawberry biscuits start at $1.79 each, $2.99 for tow, or four for $5.39. If you want to try this new item you may want to hurry, because it's a limited time offer and I would imagine they will sell out quickly.
