The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced road closures coming up in Lake Charles, Sulphur, Westlake, and Toomy.

Road Closures In Lake Charles, Louisiana

Through Monday, June 30, there will be a lane closure on Bunker Road, about 400 feet north of Vincent Street to Broad Street, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day in order to replace the existing electricity poles along Broad Street.

Road Closures in Sulphur, Louisiana

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, Andrew Young Road immediately north of La. 108 will be blocked for utility maintenance. On Thursday, July 3, the shutdown is anticipated to conclude at 5 p.m. Lane closures will occur intermittently and alternately.

Road closures in Westlake, Louisiana

On Wednesday and Thursday, June 25–26, La. 378 (Phillips Road), which runs between Westwood Road and Davis Road, will be completely closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For staff to remove dangerous trees, the closure is required.

Road Closures In Toomy, Louisiana

The left lane of Interstate 10 westbound at Exit 4 will be blocked until Tuesday, June 24, at 6 a.m. For staff to maintain the roads, the closure is required.
