If someone came up to you and said they had a stab-proof vest, would you be willing to try it out?

This Israeli TV reporter was.

A company called FMS Enterprises makes the vest. They offered to let reporter Eitam Lachover test it out, and he signed up for that mess. It would have been great if it had worked. Instead, FMS Vice-President Yaniv Motakyo found what seemed to be the ONE place on the vest that isn't actually protected.

Don't worry -- you're not about to see some gruesome video. He does get stabbed -- check out his face at around the :20 mark -- but it was a minor puncture wound. A few stitches and he's okay. You can also watch this video at the BBC's website with full subtitles.
