Railroad Festival This Weekend in DeQuincy
It's spring and festivals are cropping up all over the place and this weekend is no exception. Believe it or not, it's the 33rd year for the DeQuincy Railroad Days Festival and this year promises to be a really special year.
Not only does the Railroad Festival have something for everyone, it's also a FREE festival. The whole family will love the carnival rides, arts and crafts, and live music.
Kicking things off is the Louisiana Railroad Days Pageant. A parade will be held on Friday, followed by Gospel Night. Saturday highlights include a 5K run and live music. A variety of bands will be playing throughout the day on Saturday including featured artist Neal McCoy at 8:00 p.m.
The festival is held at the DeQuincy Railroad Museum, 400 Lake Charles Ave. DeQuincy, La 70633.
