Movies Under the Stars Tonight! 101 Dalmatians

Movies Under the Stars started off kind of small and has grown into an event that families just love. It reminds me a little of when my folks would take my sister to the drive-in movies. It wasn't anything like a regular trip to the movies. You were outside in the air and the movie screen was huge! In my little kid mind, the images on that giant screen were every bit as big as they looked on the screen.You and your family can experience that feeling tonight as Movies Under the Stars presents the family classic "101 Dalmatians."

You know the story: Two enterprising puppys save the giant litter from the infamous Cruella DeVille. Deville is probably one of Disney's best villains of all time.

Get your picnic basket and lawn chairs together, pack up the family and enjoy Movies Under the Star this evening at Prien Lake Park. Don't forget your blankets (it's going to be a very cool evening) lawn chairs and mosquito spray. The show starts at 6, so get there early to get a good spot.

While you and the family are enjoying the movie, there will be free popcorn from the Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living and the little ones can enjoy petting and taking pictures with real puppies from the Animal Services and Adoption Center. The puppies will be there starting at 4 p.m.
