LSU Drops A Spot In Polls Despite Shutout Victory Last Saturday

The LSU Tigers took care of business last Saturday night at home against Southeastern Louisiana beating them 31-0 which takes the Tigers to 2-0 on the season.

The Tigers dropped from #11 to #12 in the AP poll which I am still puzzled about but they did jump up two spots in the coaches poll from #15 to #13.

With the rankings coming out, LSU fans also saw where the Tigers next opponent Auburn landed in the rankings.  We now know Auburn is ranked #7 in both polls which now sets up a huge matchup this weekend in Alabama.

#12 LSU vs #7 Auburn is a huge matchup not only of ranked teams but also in the SEC West division.  The game has been picked up by CBS so the game will have a 2:30 pm start.
