Louisiana native, Archie Williams, returned to America's Got Talent last night and wowed the judges to a standing ovation.

On last night's live round, Williams sang the Steve Wonder classic tune Love's in Need of Love Today. Judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Kelly Clarkson were filled with emotion during the performance and showed their appreciation of his passionate rendition of the song by standing and clapping.

Hopefully, you were watching and voting to ensure Williams makes it to the next round. If you missed the show, check out his amazing performance below.

If you're not familiar with his story, in 1983, Williams was 22 years old when he was arrested for raping and stabbing a woman in Baton Rouge. He was charged with attempted murder, aggravated rape, and aggravated burglary. During his trial, none of the DNA evidence matched him. Also, several people took the stand to testify that Williams was asleep at home at the time the crime took place. However, he was convicted and sent to Angola State Prison and served 37 years before the same DNA evidence that locked him up would eventually set him free.

Williams will find out if his is moving on to the next round and one step closer to winning a million dollars tonight during the results show.

America's Got Talent airs every Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00pm on NBC.
