The latest news of a Little House On The Prairie reboot just proves that nothing is off limits in Hollywood to remake.

When I was growing up, I knew of the show but never watched it.  Only recently, have I started watching the series on IMDB TV, and boy have I missed out.  Not only is the show perfectly written and casted, but it has the ability to totally immerse you into the Little House On The Prairie.  I can't tell you how many times I've been yelling at the TV, begging Laura to beat up Nellie.  In the episode where Laura pushed Nellie down on the ground, you would've thought I was watching a prize fight knockout when I erupted in joy and then starting chanting "Laura, Laura, Laura...".

The original "Little House" ran from 1974 to 1983 on NBC. It was based on the books of Laura Ingalls Wilder, who wrote about her life growing up in the 1870s and 1880s in Wisconsin, Kansas, and Minnesota.

Paramount TV Studios and Anonymous Content are teaming up to develop and produce the hour long program. Sources say several potential buyers are already interested.

I will be interesting to see if a streaming service buys the rights to the new show or if it will be shown on a TV channel.
