Laine Hardy Putting On Live Stream Concert to Benefit Hurricane Laura Victims
It's been nearly a month since Hurricane Laura devastated portions of southwest and central Louisiana. And as we all know, the recovery is still ongoing and is a long way from over.
That's why American Idol champ and Louisiana native Laine Hardy felt a strong calling to give back in some way. That way will be through a live stream show this Monday, September 28th to help out.
The show will encourage fans to help not only the areas affected by the storms but also wildfires and countless other crises by making a gift to American Red Cross Disaster Relief at redcross.org/lainehardy. The gifts enable the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to, and help people recover from disasters big and small.
“Hurricane Laura hit west of my hometown and me and my family stayed safe and did not have any damage. So many others here in Louisiana cannot say the same,” says Laine. “And last week the Gulf Coast was hit by Hurricane Sally, these are really tough times for so many and I’m honored to work with American Red Cross to help out any way I can.”
If you'd like to donate now, you can go to this link or donate during the live stream performance on Monday.
To watch the show, go to this site on Monday evening. The site will go live at 6:30 pm and showtime is set for 7:30 pm.
