Court is adjourned. Judge Judy has announced her long-running court show will come to end. The show, which has been one of the most successful in the history of syndicated television, will come to a close at the end of its upcoming 25th season.

But, don't think for one second that the show's host is retiring. Judith Schieldin tells Ellen Degeneres in a new interview that a new show 'Judy Justice' will come to TV screens in about a year. It has not been announced where it will air.

Judge Judy holds the world record for the longest stint as a TV judge and is one of the richest people on TV. Her salary for taking the Judge Judy bench is reportedly around $47 million per year.

Judge Judy airs locally on KLFY News 10.
