Popular Outdoor Store Closing Multiple Locations

'Salt Life' stickers on cars and other items are probably something you have seen if you have ever visited a seaside town. The brand is a representation of the passion that fishermen, surfers, divers, and people who simply appreciate the beach in general have for all things sand and sea.

In June 2024, Delta Apparel Inc., the parent company of Salt Life, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This led to this legendary beach brand being purchased by Iconix International Inc. during a bankruptcy auction.

Now, under new management, Iconix has plans to revitalize the brand, and the first step is closing all physical Salt Life stores across 10 states, including the two in Texas.

Sales of liquidations began at all 28 Salt Life shops in ten states last month. Up to 40% off all products is available for customers to purchase, and gift cards are accepted through October 20th.

The following Texas locations are closing: 1506 TX-100, Port Isabel, TX 78578, and 5885 Gulf Fwy, Texas City, TX 77591.
