On Monday, former Barbe High School and current LSU-Eunice Bengals pitcher Dylan Beier took the mound against Centenary College. He only pitched for 0.2 innings, but made one of the more impressive defensive plays you will ever see.

In the top of the 8th inning, Beier was facing off against his first batter. With a full count, the batter hit the ball directly towards Beier. The ball one hopped toward the mound and Beier made an impressive no look behind the back stop as the ball bounced directly into his glove and he threw it over to first to record the out.

The defensive play was so impressive that is landed on the #8 spot on the SportsCenter Top Ten Plays.

That is certainly a cool moment for Dylan to appear on the SportsCenter Top Ten Plays.

LSU-Eunice would go on to defeat Centenary College 13-1 to improve to 24-7 on the season. The Bengals are currently the reigning NJCAA Division II National Champions in baseball and are currently ranked #3 in the country in their division.
