Family Foundation eGala Wraps Up Sunday

Family & Youth is a family service organization established in 1970 to serve children, youth, and families in Southwest Louisiana. Each year for the past 8 years, the organization hosts its annual eGala online auction and this year's auction promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The annual fundraiser supports great programs, all family oriented, like Family and Youth Counseling Agency. Technically, the auction started back on October 2nd, and it wraps up Sunday. That still gives you plenty of time to check out the auction and make your bids.

The eGala is a great experience because you don't have to buy something to wear, find a babysitter or anything else to take part in this gala. Just log on to www.qtego.net/qlink/egala and do your shopping, make your bid, and you're good to go. Keep in mind, it closes this Sunday at 9:00pm.

When you get to the site, you'll find all sorts of items donated by local businesses. There are several vacation packages like Disney World in Orlando, a vacation package in Crested Butte, Colorado, plus jewelry, gift ideas, and a ton of other cool things on which to bid. Your purchase goes to help several local entities that do good work in the area, all under the umbrella of Family & Youth.

Currently, Family & Youth operates The Shannon Cox Counseling Center, The Leadership Centers for Youth, Autism Support Alliance, The Children’s Advocacy Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Performance EAP, Children & Families Action Network (CFAN), and Human Services Response Institute (HSRI).
