I have never known anyone who likes to clean the toilet. But we all know it has to be done. Over the years, I have tried many different approaches to cleaning the beast. And it's always important for me to be ecologically responsible at the same time. So where's the the balance between clean and the environment? It's in the following combined ingredients. Here are four options for you to try at home and see what is your favorite.

Sprinkle baking soda & a few drops of lemon juice. Leave in the bowl about an hour & scrub. Flush.

1/2 Cup baking soda sprinkled around the bowl. Next, add about 8-10 tea tree essential oil and 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar. At this point, the water will bubble. When it stops, scrub and done!

12 ounce Coca-Cola poured into bowl. Leave overnight. The next mourning the lime scale buildup should be gone.

This is my favorite: 2 parts borax, 1 part lemon juice. Let sit about 1 hour. Scrub & done!
